An Invitation to Volunteer and Become a Friend of the Walden Chamber Music Society
Everyone needs a friend! The Walden Chamber Music Society is no different. The WCMS is dedicated to presenting classical chamber music in the Upper Arkansas Valley performed by world-class professional musicians at an affordable price. Providing these high-quality performances takes time, effort and many hours of work. Therefore, the WCMS started a volunteer organization called Friends of Walden. Like all good friends, our volunteers offer to lend a hand when needed.
The opportunities to help vary and may include:
- Providing housing and food for visiting musicians
- Helping with special events
- Helping with mailings
- Assisting with school activities
- Making phone calls
- Preparing food for receptions
- Helping with the Walden fundraiser activities
- Concert-day help – ticket taking, ushering
