Giff Kriebel: I lived New England for 67 years, mostly in New Hampshire, where I worked in finance and program management for a large defense contractor. Having spent time in Colorado hiking and vacationing for many years and having become tired of the cold and gray New England winters Sally and I bought a house in Salida in 2012. We became permanent residents in 2014. I started hiking with Jo, and Sally and I started attending Walden concerts almost immediately after our arrival. We were both amazed that a small town like Salida would have such a wonderful musical experience. So, when asked to join the board how, how could we say no!

Being part of this professionally run, enthusiast and energetic group is very rewarding. The quality of music and the scholarship program are impressive. I’m also a board member of the Quiet Use Coalition .I highly recommend that folks get involved in local groups in this incredible area.
